Identification of Kurds with the Medes in Historic Armenian Sources

This resource is a compilation of (historic) Armenian sources in which the Kurds are identified with the ancient, biblical Medes. In other words: Armenians made no distinction between Kurds and Medes up until the 18th century, which allows for the following conclusion to be drawn:

the Kurds are descendants of the Medes; at some point in time, "Kurd" replaced "Mede" to identify this nation.

One explanation for this change (in word used for the nation's identification) is the decline of Armenian hegemony in the region. Note that Armenians also used "Mark" to refer to Medes/Kurds.

The resources were compiled by a Reddit user known as "hud2345". Below is a list of resources used in the compilation.
