History as a dweller at the Cemil Paşa Mansion - Diyarbakir's Memory
FROM SOURCE:
Following restoration work that began in 2010 and continued for four years, the Cemil Papa Mansion can be visited today as the City Museum, and it has many stories to tell. The first, of course, is the turbulent history of one of the ancient families of the city... Belongings of the Cemil Papa family on display at the museum reveal the life-style of an upper-middle class family during severa periods. The mansion bears further architectural worth in that brings into the present day the various aspects of traditional Diyarbakir houses.
